The existing dive bar had a very distinct artsy sort of feel that the neighborhood had outgrown.  Under new ownership, the bar was to move in a different direction while maintaining the existing laid-back vibe.  The resulting watering hole is ‘a good old fashioned southern drinking establishment’.
