The initial 1,326 sf taco shop with a shared bathroom was a simple retrofit but the flavor of the space was important. A year of success later, owner Ramon Soriano wanted to convert the neighboring space into the tequila bar he’d always wanted to frequent. The resulting La Calle & La Cantina have become a downtown landmark and a part of the fabric of Houston Culture.
